Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Gymea Technology High School has a strong reputation for outstanding positive growth for students at all levels. Our school is recognised for its innovation and range of teaching and learning programs, with the specialised technology focus underpinning all aspects of curriculum. The focus on purposeful learning and the pursuit of academic achievement through technology opens up opportunities inside and outside the classroom inspiring students to engage in their learning and explore future pathways in a 21st century world.

Our focus on 21st century learning promotes collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and effective communication. This approach underpins all learning at Gymea and equips students for long term academic success.

Our school culture of high expectations and socially responsible citizenship enables all students to enjoy school life, respectful relationships and successful learning.

At Gymea we are passionate about empowering students through active participation in all school experiences. All students have many opportunities to exercise their student voice, broaden their interests and develop their leadership skills and confidence.
