High Potential and Gifted Education at Gymea Technology

At Gymea, we are committed to recognising potential early and nurturing every student to be the best they can be. Some students learn more quickly or show exceptional strengths in areas such as creativity, critical thinking, leadership or sport. Our High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) program supports these learners with tailored lessons, enrichment and extension opportunities, and a rich variety of experiences that help them grow and thrive.

Our strong STEM focus, modern learning environments and innovative curriculum provide an excellent foundation for advanced learners. Students are encouraged to think critically, solve real-world problems and engage in meaningful learning that prepares them for a rapidly changing world.

We offer:

Most of our Year 12 students progress to university, with many choosing STEM-related pathways. From the beginning of high school, students in the HPGE program are supported to explore their interests and follow a pathway that suits their strengths—whether academic, creative or career-focused.

We are proud to of our HPGE program at Gymea Technology High School.
