- Student Progress Summaries that were relaunched during the remote learning period are being continued now that school has resumed face to face.
- The summary reports are intended to provide students and families with timely information on student engagement and progress at school.
Student progress summaries emailed to families and students during the remote learning period highlighted the work that was being set for students and their achievements in those set tasks. With the use of the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, the summaries also provided positive acknowledgement to the efforts made by students with their work. The positive and encouraging conversation as parents and families supported the learning students were doing at home and was instrumental in successfully navigating a difficult time of learning while away from school. That positive partnership and connection is a strength that supports both the academic and wellbeing needs of the young people in our school.
We hope that the continuation of reports will help build on that partnership and connection as we all work together to support improvements with individual study and life at school. The summary reports will be sent out each Thursday until the end of term, with a final summary providing some guidance for success with studies in 2022.
We aim to continue to develop the reports bringing more individualised information together that supports student learning and engagement at school.
