This year has again prevented the school opening its doors to the community through our Open Night due to the COVID-19 restrictions. The evenings were not only a great way to demonstrate the learning, the kids and the staff and spaces we have but also a chance for students and staff to celebrate what they do here at Gymea and proudly show it off to our community.
Our P&C have been tremendous in their support with ideas, funding, artwork and connecting across our community to positively promote our school. In lieu of the Open Night, our P&C have enabled a positive promotion of our school through our local media, key messages and images displayed on the Princess Highway electronic billboard, as well as on social media.
The most valuable way to positively promote our school is through spreading the word and sharing of our school by our families. We seek your support to do this through sharing our social media posts with others. Our social media posts highlight our Information Sessions for Year 7 2023 and many others that highlight the positive learning and successes here at Gymea. We regularly post to Facebook and Instagram and there is so much to be proud of.
