Key Points

  • Gymea’s School Open Night for Year 7 2025 will be held on Tuesday 27 February starting at 6:30pm with a short presentation in the school hall followed by tours across the school.
  • A presentation for families interested in the HPGE program in technologies and academic streams will be held on the same evening commencing at 5:30pm in the school hall prior to the main presentation.
  • Our Open Night is not just a showcase of our school to prospective families, but a chance for us to celebrate the pride we have in our students and our school. Your help in spreading the word far and wide about the many fantastic opportunities that are available at our school is incredibly powerful.

We are all really proud of our school and the achievements of our students. Our upcoming Open Night is one of our best opportunities to showcase our school to prospective families and students for next year while celebrating our school and our community.

Each year the feedback on our open night is tremendous and you have witnessed it. One of the most powerful tools of communication is ’word of mouth’ and we would sincerely appreciate you working with us and spreading the word about Open Night and the success of our school. Through conversations with families, at local primary schools, and through your social media platforms, particularly sharing our posts on facebook and instagram, are great ways to get involved and help promote pride in learning at Gymea. Let’s all ‘Inspire, Learn and Succeed.’

Our Open Night will be held on Tuesday 27th February commencing with a short introduction and presentation by our Principal, Peter Marsh at 6:00pm in the school hall before our student leaders escort visiting families to all corners of the school. A special presentation to highlight Gymea’s High Potential and Gifted Education program will commence immediately prior to the open night presentation, kicking off in the school hall at 5:30pm.
